Assessing Urban Forest Effects and Values.
A report on the findings from the UK-iTree Eco pilot project.
In order to gain a better understanding of Torbay's urban forest resource, a public/private partnership project was formed in 2010 with the aim of collecting data and presenting the findings. Developed by the US Forest Service, i-Tree Eco is used for assessing and structural value and environmental benefits that urban trees provide. This project pilots the use of the Eco model in the UK.
