Consultancy and Research

Treesource is a professional company undertaking arboricultural consultancy and research projects. After training in arboriculture at York and amenity forestry at Aberdeen, Jo went on to work as an advisor for the Arboricultural Advisory and Information Service.

Since the launch of Treesource consultancy in 2000 we have developed a strong core client base and gain new clients largely by recommendation. We undertake a range of work including pre-planning survey and inspection, tree hazard assessment and management solutions, and have particular interest in tree establishment within the urban environment. Treesource has collaborated on an EU Cost research project and compiles a tree directory - The Tree Sourcebook - as well as writing articles for trade magazines.
